Month in Review - July 2018

Well, that's us heading deeper into the latter half of the year, how are the #hobbyresolution2018 going?

1 - Transfer my flip-top paint collection to dropper bottles. (83/519)

Haven't done any this month.   Although I did pick up some 20ml syringes and needles to hopefully expedite progress.

2 - Organise and run a two day Warmahordes event, (1/1)

Done.

3 - Make £500 selling old models. (20/500)

Not sold anything this month.  Might have a buyer for my pile of Island of Blood Night Goblins soon though. 

4 - Maintain the Blog with weekly and monthly updates. (22/52 and 7/12)

Started to lag badly with this.  Weather hasn't helped as it completely kills my motivation to even move, nevermind take a bunch of pictures and sit typing.

5 - Go to 2 Gaming Shows or Conventions. (2/2)

Done.

6 - Play 6 New Opponents. (6/6)

Done

7 - Play 100 Games (53/100)

Not had the motivation or energy to game.

8 - Play 6 different Board Games. (5/6)

None played this month.

9 - Play 3 New Games or New Editions of Rules (3/3)

Already complete.

10 - Paint 4pts of Normans for SAGA. (4/4pts, 21/28 models)

Already Complete.

11 - Maintain Butcher's Guild being fully painted. (0/3 Models)

Nope. 

12 - Paint remaining Deathguard for Warhammer 40,000 (0/50 Models)

Nope. 

13 - Paint Waiqar half of Runewars Miniatures Game Starter (0/26 Models)

Guess what?  Nope.

14 - Paint a 15mm Hordes of the Things Army (14/14 Elements)

Complete.

15 - Paint a 75pt Warmahordes List (73/73 Models)

Done.

16 - Paint the Hog Wild Malifaux box (6/6 Models)

Complete.


So time for some numbers then?

Painted  44 models this month, and assembled at least 60.  The stuff that was sidelined on the workbench remains there.  Should be getting back to that soon.  Been kinda busy with commission stuff so haven't done any stuff for myself.

Played  3 games of 100, so, that average of 2 a week really took a hit. 

Have now finished 8 of my Hobby Resolutions,not added any extra this month.

Current #hobbystreakday - no idea, kinda lost track of updating.

Yearly painting tally is 256 miniatures or elements painted (151 for myself, 105 for commissions)

I've also grabbed a bunch of pictures, so, fingers crossed, I can actually do a #workbenchWednesday post tomorrow.
